If you want to treat yourself with a beautiful and divine supper you have to stop at AURA. This is for the connoisseur of good cuisine. They have a good selection of wines, the service is the top of the profession, the quality and details of the plates are from the real Chef. I have been in a lot of restaurants in my time, being in the business for 23 years, and this is in my top choice of restaurant. If you go to Victoria and want a treat you, well there is only one place and this is it AURA.Vancouver Island — TripAdvisor
The service was excellent. Staff paid particular attention to our dietary requests going the extra mile to ensure if everything met our needs. This was a great experience with a big thanks to all the staffSeattle — OpenTable
I usually would opt to avoid "the hotel restaurant" while staying at that same hotel, but AURA lures you in with clean modern decor and calming water views. You start out thinking you'll just have a glass of wine and a beer (good selections here for both) then you decide to add a cheese plate because it's so damn pleasant out there on the patio. It's one of the best cheese plates you've had - many local selections to choose from, amazing lavender honey, and plenty of extras. You add on pork eclairs because what the hell are those and they turn out to be delicious.Seattle — Yelp
That night you're beat and order room service off the same menu. Light and not-too-oily fish and chips. Crisp service, just like at the restaurant.
Later the next day you wander in for a late dessert and it's the best thing you've had so far: a broad list of dessert options, all appealing. Panna cotta beautifully plated with fresh mint leaves and flower petals. The rest of the table's desserts equally beautiful and with attention to detail. And a good cappuccino to finish. AURA is a gem.
We ate at AURA for breakfast. Their breakfast menu offers a number of healthy choices in addition to the usual breakfast items such as eggs Benedict with a twist (seafood for example). All tables have a great view of inner harbor and on nice days, you can dine outside on a patio. Service was great and food excellent.Edmonton — TripAdvisor
What a wonderful place! Our first time dining at AURA, and it was well worth a visit. Each plate was delightful and unexpected! Service was lovely, menu items were explained while they were being served, and every item was delicious. Cocktails were tasty and inventive.Vancouver — OpenTable
Our only regret was the early sunset meant less time to enjoy the gorgeous view at dinner- what a beautiful setting! Would love to visit for a sunny Sunday Brunch. Looking forward to our return. Many thanks.
