What was your first job in hospitality? When I was in high school, I worked in a few local establishments and I continued to cook throughout university. I always felt like I was getting a lot more satisfaction through cooking then I was through my studies, and now 15 years later I’ve never left.
What inspires you most in your job? The fast pace and intensity of a service. I love feeling the pressure and seeing everything come together in the end.
What is a work habit that you take home with you? My family will attest, I can never seem to cook for just 2, more along the lines of 20-30
What is your most memorable food or wine experience? Helping my Oma in the kitchen when I was young. No matter where or what I eat my Oma will always make the best food....in my opinion
